Sessions & Fees

How we get started, and what to expect.

How it works

  1. 1. Enquiry

Send an enquiry or booking request via the contact form. I will respond within 3 working days to discuss your needs and confirm the appointment.

  2. 2. First session

We will arrange an initial session. This is a chance for us to meet, for you to share what has brought you to therapy, and for us to decide together if we are a good fit.

  3. 3. Ongoing work

If we decide to continue, we will agree on a schedule and way of working that suits you.

Frequently asked questions

The first session is an opportunity for us to meet, for you to share what has brought you to counselling, and for me to understand your hopes and goals. We will also discuss how we might work together and what to expect. There is no pressure to share anything you are not ready to discuss.

Yes. What you share in sessions is confidential. There are rare legal limits to confidentiality (for example, if there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others, or as required by law). These will be discussed with you in our first session.

This depends on your goals and what feels right for you. Some people find a few sessions helpful; others prefer longer-term work. We can discuss this as we go and adjust as needed.

Both partners attend sessions together. We focus on understanding the patterns in your relationship, improving communication, and rebuilding connection. I may occasionally suggest individual sessions if helpful, but the main work is done as a couple.

Just yourself. There is no need to prepare anything in advance. You may find it useful to reflect on what you hope to gain from counselling, but this is optional.

Please refer to the fees chart above. Payment is accepted via PayNow and cash only.

Yes. I work with clients of all ages, including children and adolescents. With minors, parental involvement is typically discussed to ensure the best support. Play therapy is available for younger children.

I am comfortable and fluent in both English and Mandarin. You are welcome to use whichever language you feel most at ease with, or a mix of both — whatever helps you express yourself most naturally.

Yes, both in-person and online sessions are available. Online sessions are conducted via Zoom, offering the same level of confidentiality and care. This can be a convenient option if you are unable to attend in person or are based overseas.
